Balloon Yorkie
Help! My dog (Yorkie) just swallowed a very small water balloon. would he get sick?
There was no water in it. There were some kids playing with the water ballons on the hallway, and when I open the door to my house my dog ran fast and ate one.
Your dog could very well die. If the balloon does not pass on its own, and there are no guarantees about that, it will become lodged in his intestines or urethra, preventing elimination of body wastes and causing a lingering, painful death.
Observe your dog constantly. If can't poop or pee in the next few hours, get him to a vet PRONTO.
If it were my dog, I'd be on my way to the vet's office now.

my 1 year old puppy just swallowed a balloon!?
i was in my basement chasing my puppy he is a corkie half yorkie, and he swallowed the balloon! i see it in his throat but cant reach enough to grab it. ive seen my puupy swallow batteries and plastic and other thingss..im just hoping he digestss it! any idea? im only 15 and my mom is madd at me for leettting him gte the balloon!
p.s is he gnna dieee!?
