Time of Flight Question?

I'm trying to do this question which involves finding the time of flight of a champagne cork which was fired from an air balloon.
I know that the balloon starts 6m up in the air.
That vx = 5m/s and vy= 3m/s and v = 5.83m/s
Also the initial direction is 31degrees above the horizontal.
Ad the maximum height is 6.46m (6 above the ground + 0.46 above the balloon)
So does any one know a calculation I could use to find the time the cork remains in the air?
Thanks x

break it into two parts.

first is going up from 6m to 6.46m. This is the same as the time it takes to fall 0.46m.

use t = √(2d/g)

then calculate time to fall from 6.46 m to 0 m, and use the same equation.

add the two together.

There are few experiences as serene and at the same time thrilling, as a Balloon Ride. There is a sensation of time suspended as the world passes by quietly below. It is also a photographers dream with no feeling of movement and no cold breezes as you drift with the wind. Balloon flights are both fun and exhilarating and give you the opportunity to see the world in slow motion from a huge wicker basket. After a safety briefing from your pilot the excitement begins with the inflation of the balloon envelope, which can almost 7 stories high. Climb aboard, and as you take off, the feeling will be one of pure elation. The direction of the flight will be dictated by the wind and the flight itself will last around one hour. Your view of the countryside will be uninterrupted in all directions as the scenery unfolds below. After landing, and once the balloon is packed away, it is time to celebrate in the traditional balloonist's manner: with a glass of champagne. As soon as you place your order a gift pack will be sent to you (or the recipient) containing the experience voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), message card, booking instructions and information booklet.NoteBallooning requires good stable weather, light winds and good visibility. For this reason most flights are scheduled for just after dawn or just before dusk - although take off time will vary depending on the time of year.In the event that your flight is cancelled due to bad weather, the balloon operator will make alternative arrangements with you for another date. It is the pilot's decision on all aspects of the flight. The balloon operator will request that your voucher is 'activated', this will provide you with a voucher specific to that particular operator. Once you have activated your voucher you must attempt to retake any cancelled flights at least 8 times within the same season. If you do not, an extension fee will be payable to the balloon operator.

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Skyhook balloons were balloons developed by Otto C. Winzen and General Mills, Inc., and used by the United States Navy Office of Naval Research in the late 1940s and in the 1950s for atmospheric research, especially for constantlevel meteorological observations at very high altitudes. Instruments like the Cherenkov detector were first used on skyhook balloons. Among significant flights, in 1948 Project Skyhook launched the first successful three balloon cluster. In 1949, the first shipboard Skyhook launch took place, followed by nearly 300 shipboard launchings over the next 10 years. The first manned plastic balloon flight under ONR contract took place in 1949. Project Rockoon, in 1952, featured a Skyhook balloon that released small Deacon rockets at about 70,000 feet above arctic waters. On September 7, 1956, the University of Minnesota launched a giant Mylar balloon (developed by the G. T. Schejeldahl Corporation of Northfield, MN) to set an unofficial balloon altitude record of 145,000 feet for unmanned balloons.
