Hot Air Balloon Flying Conditions
Used hot air balloon value?
I have a Raven S55A model hot air balloon in great condition. I have the basket, burner, seats, and all the ropes needed. The only thing I dont have is the envelope ( balloon ) . I want to sell the aircraft. I heard its worth 9,000 dollars, and then I heard its worth over 20,000 dollars. How can I find the value of this aircraft before I do sell it? I really want to trade it for a good running excellent flying condition helicopter a one or two seater. Can anyone help me?
A complete used system (with envelope) might go for $12,000. A completely new system will go for $20,000 - $23,000. You might get $4,000 - $6,000 for just the basket and stuff.

how to make a hot air balloon, say, for a project? i need the most available materials?
whave a project in physics,,we must create a hot air balloon..in any size..now i need the most available and effective materials in making such balloon..the condition given was that the balloon must fly..please help me..tnx a lot!!!
In mexico my uncle would wrap up a newspaper in the shape of a parachute and burn the button. It worked with the same effect but super dangerous. Awesome pyro fun.
You could Try using aluminum foil to hold structure and a plastic bag as the material. The hardest part would be I guess the bottom flame, because a big candle would be too heavy and a birthday one is inefficient to the bag.
