8 Days in a hot air balloon?!?

Ok so my cousin owns a hot air balloon and takes people up on tours and let's them sleep up there too while he and one other person fly and ocasionally touch down for fuel. Idk though it seems like a really long time.... he invited me as a sort of hotel manager. Should I do it? I saw the basket and its fairly big. THXOXOXO

☼Sunny Days!☼
As to the bathroom question, there is a seperated little room with a disposable toilot, you know the kind you use for camping.

Thzt's a great deal, you can fly to the unicorn farm and stop off at teh end of the rainbow and see the pot of gold.

C'mon Robert, we all know this doesnt exist, you posted this yesterday. You really need to work on somethiong real.

PS If I am wrong prove it, I am sure there is some sort of website that you can show us all if I am wrong to put me in my place.

How to Fly a HOT AIR BALLOON.

Birthday Ideas?

I try to do something I have never done before on every birthday. I have gone on a hot air balloon ride, watched a symphony, went to a shooting range, went on a wine tour, went to a dinner theater show, went to Las Vegas, and so on. I am turning 23 and I can't think of anything new to try. Does anybody have suggestions?

Try helping out someone unfortunate. Maybe volunteer at a Battered Women's Shelter. Sounds like you've had a pie of a life so far.

Like anything there are defintely legitimate ones and I'm sure a few phonies. All the big name places like Westgate, Summerbay etc.. are totall legit and the tickets are real. But on that note I would like to say I would NEVER go to a time share thing again. Unless you are staying in florida for an extended period of time it is a complete waste of a day (yes I do mean day) and a severe headache. They tell you it will only take 90 minutes, which is complete bull you are lucky if you are done in 3 hours. And you cannot just leave beacuse they dont give you the tickets until they say they are done. Also they are extremely pushy. And I don't mean like just pushy I mean PUSHY. You truly have never seen anything like it. THey will argue with you, insult you etc.. and again if you want to see those tickets you just have to take it.. there is no saying no. Really I would just spend the money rather than waste a half a day of my trip and being miserable

Most of those tickets deals are legit, otherwise they would have been shut down fast. The Orlando area is dependent on tourism & they work hard to keep such offers fair & square.

That doesn't mean l suggest you buy a time share but know how intense the sales pitch will be when they go to that extreme to get you to visit the place & take the tour.

The better places give you the information up front, including length of tour and any qualifications you may need like income or age. Many people do take these tours as the value of the free tickets, dinners, hotels & whatever else they have to offer are worth it to them

Note; most of the "bad" tickets come from the growing resale market of discounted theme park tickets. It is difficult to tell good tickets from the used ones.

I went to what was called a "90 minute no-pressure sales pitch" but it turned into a three hour big fiasco in which I felt like I was going to be beaten into the ground by 5 sales people unless I signed up for a time share. I did get legitimate tickets, though. But I have heard horror stories about fake tickets. I have two big warnings about these things
    1) be very wary about the time share sales place, if it looks sketchy then they will probably be the ones to cheat you out of real theme park tickets
2)If you do start one of these sales pitches, be mentally prepared, these time shares are BAD DEALS but they can be disguised very well, and many people are tricked into them. I was on the verge of tears until the sales person finally let me go, and don't bring kids to these, you are more likely to crack if you have a fussy toddler on your hands

Ooh, those are some great ideas! We're planning an event system for Meetaverse, and we'll be able to use these insights! Meetaverse Events will be online first, then with the ability to find events in-world using your Meetaverse Notifier (they're free, like membership, after our official launch).

So, here are my ideas so far. I'd love it if anyone has comments! These are just thoughts so far, not plans set in stone:

We'll scan all Second Life posted events, but only show events for approved event posters. It'll be easy to become an approved event poster, but only if you're throwing real events, and you get thrown off the list if you're not. The requirements will be clear and simple, not based on anyone's whim (even mine!). :)

There will be a separate kind of category for ongoing attractions and exhibits, both temporary ones (like art exhibits or fairs) and permanent ones (like Prim Hearts amusement park or permanent balloon tours).

Events that occur on a regular schedule but that aren't always posted in the Second Life events system will be shown at the right times automatically as long as they continue to happen.

People will be able to rate venues on a 1-5 star scale just by clicking on their rating next to the event or venue.

Extra information about the venue, sponsor, artists, and so on can be entered by the event sponsor to be kept permanently. For instance, if Grace McDunnough is playing somewhere, there can be information about her that shows up for all of her events.

While Meetaverse Events will support the existing Second Life categories, it will have requirements for events to show up in each category and will have other categories and sub-categories that can be used.
