Make Hot Air Balloon Pinata

Best way to make hangar for homemade pinata?
I want to try to make a homemade pinata again this year for my son's birthday party. I made a really awesome curious george one last year but once the first kid swiped at it the hangar thingee we made broke. The directions I had read said to use something like a margarine lid inside the pinata and attach your string to that. We used a tupperware bowl lid and after the first kid smacked it the lid broke through and we were screwed. That thing was a ton of work so it was very disappointing.
Any suggestions as to the best way to make a hangar for the pinata? I'm wanting to make a hot air balloon shape. If anyone has any other tips for making pinatas I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
make the lines part of the pinata itself. run them all down the first shaping then do more as you fill out the papermache stuff on it.
I would make a balloon shaping put the first layer or two on it and then add 2 to 4 lines of medium cord all the way around and long enough to hang the thing. add a couple more layers of paper and glue and a couple more lines of cording.
Does this make any sense? I am thinking the balloon will take quite a beating before giving up the goodies.
Another fun thing to do at summer Birthday parties is the "water trash bag" bashing.
do it the same as the pinatas, but fill a couple layers of trash bags or wallyworld shopping bags with water and hang in tree, allowing the kids to swat at the bags blind folded.

Hot air balloon pinata fun
I made a pinata, popped the balloon, and it's stuck to inside of pinata?
I am in the process of making a hot air balloon pinata for my son's party sunday. After the first layer was dry I popped the balloon. I noticed that the balloon stayed attached inside all the way around. I could swear that when I made a pinata the other time that the balloon was NOT attached to the inside.
I'm thinking it's not right to have the balloon completely attached on the inside. I don't see how it will break right with it that way.
Can someone please let me know if I've already screwed up? I really need to get moving on this thing to get it done in time for the party sunday. Of course I don't want to keep working on it if it's already ruined and not going to work right.
Thanks!
to the first person that answered, did you mean that No it would not work? I'm a bit confused about your answer. I'm not sure why this would have happened this time and it didn't the other time?
Please please please can someone help?
If the Balloon is stuck to the whole inside then , no it won't work. Open the top alittle and you can pull the balloon out.;)))

nice one mate great spot liked
awesome!
RT Jean Genevieve Garnerin was the first female parachutist, jumping from a hot air balloon in 1799.
Stynes was a fantastic player in Cincinatti and Boston. You guys are all just jelous of his ability. He would have found his stride in Chicago if he didn't have to play behind Mark Bellhorn. Stynes is the single greatest player of all time. And his stance was just precious. And so was his hot air balloon, and his broom, both of which he occasionally flew on, up to his home on the moon.
It wasn't actually at the funeral, but when my sister died I was in a hot air balloon with our Dad, her friends and her music therapist, singing Up Up and Away.
Our poor Mum called a doctor to do a death certificate. The doctor asked if there was any family who could come and sit with her. She looked a little surprised that the relevant people had been sent ballooning by the dearly departed.
[...] We were pleasantly surprised this morning when a friend and neighbor of ours woke us up to let us know that a hot-air balloon had just landed right in our front yard!?! What FUN! As you can see, baby S was wide AWAKE and really enjoying all of the balloon festivities going on in our front yard at 8:30 a.m. this morning! because there is a gas law that says initial volume divided by initial temperature equals final volume over final temperature….
meaning if the air gets COLDER (lower temp) then the volume goes down. conversely for HOT gas.
