Air Private Private pilots License in the US Air Force?
I have always had a dream of getting my private pilots license, and maybe someday owning a Cessna 150. I leave for Air Force basic training March 30th, and i want to know from people who are enlisted, is it possible to find the time in my busy schedule to come, to take a course in getting my private pilots license? It is something I really want and will work my whole life for to get if I have to.
Once you finish your basic and specialty training and get assigned to your first permanent duty station, there will be plenty of time for hobbies and outside interests. Most Air Force personnel routinely work 8-10 hour shifts, and 40-50 hour weeks, just as you would in a civilian job, and once your duty shift is over, your free time is your own. You can do anything you want (as long as it's legal).
If you're lucky, you will be assigned to a base that has an active Aero Club, where you can rent private airplanes and find instructors who are willing to teach you to fly. If not, there's usually a civilian general aviation airport somewhere close by where you can take flying lessons.

Yes, I had that problem with “expected” as well. On one hand it was frustrating because you did not seem to be rewarded for doing well – it was expected of you. On the other hand, it came in handy for many of us later in life when found that – yes – you do not always get a trophy for doing what is expected. In high school our grading system stopped at 74. Anything below that was failing pure and simple.

Yes, some of the Catholic schools go over board. My older brothers had some of that. My years were far more lenient. But even then, when we took classes at the public school (home econ and shop were state requirements and our school did not offer them), the teachers were amazed at our behavior and the fact the we actually assumed we were to do the class work (and here we thought we were acting up a bit since we were getting a break from nuns).
As to picking and choosing students. I went through old fashioned Catholic school where anyone was welcome and the parish helped pay tuition for those who could not afford the fees (which at that time were nominal). There was even a fund to help those who were not Catholic – but who wished their children to attend a praochial school. I am sure with today's economics – this type of assistance is far less prevalent.
Our pastor even accepted students that the public school could not handle. Most of the time – with very good results. There were only one or two students in the course of my first 8 years that could simply not adjust. I think the picking and choosing has become more prevalent as the schools have taken on more of an air of “private” versus “parochial”.

Non-stopping roaring and orchestras of sounds began since 2003 end- beginning 2004 year till now! During that time David wrote me that document about me was stolen, also he returned it. Since those times constant roarings and noises are heard 24 hours a day. They has gone only once- for several minutes. This helped my logic to conclude that the reason is technical, in that case somewhere near my left ear installed device. This device helps to torture me with 24 hours a day madhouse inserting hate into me without coming to me nearby. Blocked credit financing, gave me my own assets, given by my father for financing me but left in the pockets of attackers, with 24 percents year rate interest. Blocked reconstruction due to additional percents and unearned money. All the terms of reconstruction works were last, again due to additional not-earned percents, and not earned money. At the end crushed market of real estate and again blocked selling of my flat. Came to meet birthday away from Lithuania, when returned me and my son where took from train by lithuania custom because of lithuanian police. My son was arrested. We were blocked in Lithuania. I was poisoned by hallucinogenes again. Is this called “no pretensions to you – you are free”? When I was unblocked I started my life from zero. Rented a room in Poland. What did my attackers do? Keen to chat about this tomorrow at Forde's, but a quick comment.I asked Rodney about this in '05, and he said then too that environmental rights stem from private property rights.His argument was that individuals look after their property. That may well be true enough – though it's debatable when it comes to their actions that affect other people's property or public goods (like water or air). But private property rights have more to do with the rights of corporations than individuals these days, and corporations (unlike individuals) are not moral agents, and don't care about the environment like Rodney and Roger do.See you tomorrow.

Yes, I had that problem with “expected” as well. On one hand it was frustrating because you did not seem to be rewarded for doing well – it was expected of you. On the other hand, it came in handy for many of us later in life when found that – yes – you do not always get a trophy for doing what is expected. In high school our grading system stopped at 74. Anything below that was failing pure and simple.

Yes, some of the Catholic schools go over board. My older brothers had some of that. My years were far more lenient. But even then, when we took classes at the public school (home econ and shop were state requirements and our school did not offer them), the teachers were amazed at our behavior and the fact the we actually assumed we were to do the class work (and here we thought we were acting up a bit since we were getting a break from nuns).
As to picking and choosing students. I went through old fashioned Catholic school where anyone was welcome and the parish helped pay tuition for those who could not afford the fees (which at that time were nominal). There was even a fund to help those who were not Catholic – but who wished their children to attend a praochial school. I am sure with today's economics – this type of assistance is far less prevalent.
Our pastor even accepted students that the public school could not handle. Most of the time – with very good results. There were only one or two students in the course of my first 8 years that could simply not adjust. I think the picking and choosing has become more prevalent as the schools have taken on more of an air of “private” versus “parochial”.
