I have a 1996 Tiger Woods signed JC Penney Classic program. I'm wondering how much this is worth. 96 is rookie?
I have a 1996 JC Penney Classic spectators guide autographed by Tiger Woods on his page of the guide. 1996 was his rookie year on the PGA Tour. I see items like this on eBay for thousands of dollars and I'm wondering how much it is actually worth?
Actually, doing Insanity AFTER P90X is a great idea. This if from one of the Beachbody newletters talking about doing INSANITY after P90X:
The 6 to 8 weeks of INSANITY will have improved various energy systems of your body, increasing its potential for hard training. INSANITY will improve your aerobic and anaerobic capacities. Your VO2/max and anaerobic threshold will both improve, as will your body's glycolytic efficiency, which is your ability to recharge your anaerobic system during intense bouts of exercise. The result is that in your next round of P90X (or any muscle-building program), you'll have more energy to burn at the end of each set. This will result in increased reps per set or more weight per set, both of which lead to increased hypertrophy (muscle growth) if that is your target.
Good luck! I just finished Insanity AFTER P90X and I'm going to do a hybrid of the two programs next. You should join the Beachbody website – there's lots of good info there. I have a link in my profile if you're interested.
The typical geek probably does start programming early. The typical undergraduate CS major has not. The majority of the majors in my intro to programming class have never programmed a single line of code before. There’s a couple factors – first, many majors really want to do hardware/systems admin work, but 4-year colleges don’t offer degress in that. I try to suggest 2-year community college programs, but by the time I advise them, it is really too late for them to consider a program that would be a better fit. Second, many majors think they want to program because they think computer games are cool. Now mind you, they aren’t particularly strong at math, nor do they want to take a lot of math, but they still want to program computer games. Um, ok. It is the self-taught geeks that are most successful as their learning curve is much lower. They may or may not be decent at structured programming. They may, or may not, understand the value in meaningful variable names. They probably do have decent debugging skills already. A few have actually read some of the classic programming books (such as Code Complete) and are really ready to excel. In any case, picking up some additional skills is much, much easier for them than someone starting from scratch.

We are just about done with the P90X Lean program, and are thinking we will go to the Classic program next.
